Naimur wins along with two others in BCB elections

Former Bangladesh captain Naimur Rahman Durjoy was elected as BCB director after voting took place today.

The former cricketer contested the elections from Dhaka division as part of Nazmul Hassan’s panel.

Syed Ashraful Islam, who also attained director status, competed with Naimur Rahman and Sheikh Naim in the elections.

Ashraful Islam won 18 votes while Naimur Rahman won 13 votes.

MA Awal Bulu, who was part of the 23-member Nazmul Hassan led panel contested the elections from the Barisal division. Alamgir khan won from Barisal division with six votes.
