Argentina football team greet Bangladesh fans on Eid

The Argentina football team wished their "dear friends" in Bangladesh on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha today. 

"To all our dear friends from Bangladesh, the Argentine Football Association wishes you Eid Mubarak! May this festive occasion be filled with love, peace and memorable moments shared with loved ones," Argentina national team official page wrote in a post with a picture.

The people of Bangladesh have been supporting Argentina for well over three decades since the great Diego Maradona led the Albiceletes to 1986 World Cup victory.

The Argentina fanbase in Bangladesh kept booming and their support was at its peak during the Qatar World Cup in December last year.

Many Argentines were overwhelmed to see Bangladeshis celebrating their third World Cup triumph with such gusto, and the bond between the two countries has kept evolving in different ways in recent times.
