Morsalin unleashes CR7 celebration
Young forward Sheikh Morsalin unleashed the CR7 celebration after scoring a crucial equalising goal against Afghanistan in a FIFA Friendly at the Kings Arena on Thursday.
It was his third goal in seven international matches, but yesterday was the first time the Bangladesh No. 7 did the CR7 celebration as the hosts drew 1-1 against Afghanistan.
The Bashundhara Kings forward revealed the reason behind his CR7 celebration after his third international goal.
"I have been a fan of Cristiano Ronaldo since my childhood. I always wanted to have the no. 7 jersey because of that. I thought I would do a CR7 celebration if I scored," Morsalin told official broadcasters T-Sports after the match.
Morsalin, who missed a glorious opportunity in the first match which ended in a goalless draw, tapped in Bishwanath Ghosh's cross from the right in the 62nd minute of the match.
Morsalin had previously scored against Maldives and Bhutan during the SAFF Championship in India a couple of months ago.
