Seychelles coach wary of Tapu, Tariq

Seychelles coach Neville Both is wary of challenge posed by Bangladesh's two centre-backs – Tapu Barman and Tariq Kazi – and midfielder Jamal Bhuiyan ahead of the second FIFA friendly match in Sylhet on Tuesday.

Seychelles are determined to come back strongly in the second match after losing the first match 1-0. Asked who could be the threat for Seychelles in tomorrow's match, coach Neville Both, at a pre-match conference, said, "I think the two centre-backs [Tapu and Tariq] are good players and there was another guy in central midfield, he [Jamal] is also good one. Apart from them, no one seems threatening."

Apart from protecting the defence, both Tapu and Tariq participated in the team's attacks during the set-piece movements. Tariq headed the decisive goal while Tapu, too, has a good goalscoring record from set-pieces.

When asked what he thought of Nigerian-born forward Eleta Kingsley, Seychelles coach said, "I would like if he is put in the first eleven."

After coming from the bench, Kingsley squandered a great opportunity to double the lead for Bangladesh and then had a shot on target, which the Seychelles goalkeeper saved comfortably.

Bangladesh coach Javier Cabrera, however, wants to bank on his forwards to score goals in Tuesday's match.

"I am big supporter of my forward line-up. I think we have very decisive players in forward line-up. Definitely we like to score more goals and as long as we win, there is absolutely no concern at all at this kind of situation. I don't care of the finishing action whether it is striker, attacking midfield or defender. So I have full belief in them and I think we have good players in attacking line-up," Cabrera said.
