Real Madrid door is open for Neymar, says Ramos
Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos is interested in Brazilian sensation Neymar and hinted that it would be easier for Neymar to become a Real Madrid Player after taking a PSG detour.
Before his move to PSG , Neymar had bid Real Madrid players a goodbye when he went to their dressing room after the El Clasico game in the United States.
Even before that, Real Madrid were very interested in the Brazilian and tried to hijack his move to Barcelona when they bid something around the region of 150 million.
Los Blancos defender Ramos believes that Neymar is one of the best in the world and the Real Madrid door is open for the Brazilian.
"I like to have the best and it's clear Neymar is one of them. Maybe it was easier for him to go to PSG, instead of going directly to Real Madrid,” Ramos told Cadena Ser.
"These are personal decisions, you never know what can happen because football goes around a lot. I already have the door open for him if he wants to come. I also have a good relationship with him."
A Real Madrid move for Neymar would present a change of scenario at the Bernabeu as Real Madrid are always in the hunt for big name signings and their recent results can prove to be an incentive in this regard.
Neymar likes to play in the left and centre of the pitch more often, a position currently occupied by Real Madrid’s biggest star Cristiano Ronaldo. While the Portuguese has converted into more of a centre forward than a winger, however, Neymar’s move to the Bernabeu would likely mean a change of scenario for some Real Madrid stars.
Ramos reproached Ronaldo regarding his attitude on the pitch after the Las Palmas match, SPORT report says. Ronaldo was reportedly unhappy with Isco after the Spanish midfielder did not come to his side of the pitch to celebrate the goal that Cristiano assisted.
"We can't change Cris at this stage, it doesn't surprise me that he's annoyed if he doesn't score and we win 3-0. We know how to live with how he is, but maybe it's not the best," said Ramos.
A surprising remark from Ramos but this is not the first time that someone has spoken of Ronaldo’s selfishness.
