Siddikur moves up

Bangladeshi golfer Siddikur Rahman moved up to 44th position on the leaderboard after carding a one-under-par (69) in the third round of the Asia-Pacific Diamond Cup in Ibaraki, Japan yesterday.

Siddikur traded four birdies for three bogeys at the Ibaraki Country Club on Saturday -- the first under-par score for the two-time Asian Tour winner in this event – as he aggregated two-over-par (212) to move up 15 places from the second round.

Phachara Khongwatmai of Thailand held on to a one-stroke lead at eight-under-par (202) in the 1.3-million-dollar event.
