Shakib, Mushy sail Tigers' innings

Bangladeshi all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan and the diminutive wicketkeeper batsman Mushfiqur Rahim played sensible partnership, by both crossing half-centuries, today in the ICC World Cup match against Afghanistan at Manuka Oval, Canberra.

Shakib was at his imperious best as he went out to bat after Bangladesh had lost several quick wickets. His placement and timing were second to none. 

Mushfiqur kept pace with his illustrious partner as he matched Shakib shot for shot and reached fifty.
Bangladesh had reached 208 runs for fourin the 42th over until report was filed.
