Titas Club emerged champions in the Great Wall Ceramic Premier Division Chess League after beating Uttara Central Chess Club 4-0 in the ninth and final round held at the Bangladesh Chess Federation Hall Room today.

Titas secured 16 points from nine rounds, two more than Manha's Castle who finished runners-up ahead of Leonine Chess Club. 
Manha's Castle and Leonine Chess Club earned 14 points from nine rounds and their tie had to be broken by the game points.

In the ninth round, FM Tahsin Tajwar Zia, Indian FM Panesar Vedant, IM Fahad Rahman and GM Niaz Murshed beat Uttara Central Chess Club's Hasan Emam, Tashriq Saihan Shan, Ayas Abdullah Khajir Bin and Faisal Hossain, respectively, as Titas Club, who won the title for the first time since the inception of the league in 2011.

Earlier today, Manha's Castle beat Dipali Memorial Chess Club by 3-1 game points, while Leonine Chess Club defeated Bangladesh Police 4-0.
