Bangladesh women's football team players immersed themselves in the Pahela Baishak celebrations at the Shahbag area of Dhaka this morning.

Around 10-12 players led by young captain Afeida Khandaker and accompanied by BFF officials paraded the streets around the Shahbag region, becoming a part of the annual celebrations marking the first day of the Bengali calendar.

Dressed in national team jerseys with black trousers, the young girls keenly observed the traditional dances and music while taking a look at the artefacts and motifs, which have become an integral part of the Bengali New Year's Procession.
