Wardell Stephen Curry II, born March 14, 1988, is an American professional basketball player for the Golden State Warriors of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He was drafted in 2009 by the Golden State Warriors, and eventually developed into one of pro basketball's top players with his stellar shooting skills. Many players and analysts have called him the greatest shooter in NBA history. In 2014–15, Curry won the NBA Most Valuable Player Award and led the Warriors to their first championship since 1975.

-Curry has played seven seasons in the NBA, where he is a three-time All-Star, two-time Most Valuable Player, and an NBA champion with the Warriors in 2015

-He holds the record for the most three-pointers in a single NBA season and has topped the league's three-point scoring charts in each of the past three seasons

-His impressive play earned him a spot on the USA Men's Basketball Senior National Team, which won the gold medal at the 2010 World Championships

-In May 2016, Curry became the first person to be named Most Valuable Player by unanimous vote in NBA history, and one of only 11 players to win the MVP award two years in a row.
