Tigers in trouble with four down for 59
Bangladesh were in trouble with the bat after the end of the 14th over as they lost four wickets for 59 runs against India in their Asia Cup Super Four contest at the R.Premadasa Stadium in Colombo on Friday.
Batter Mehedi Hasan Miraz was the latest to depart when he poked at a regulation delivery outside off-stump bowled by left-arm spinner Axar Patel in the 14th over. It seemed Miraz was caught in two minds and ended up giving Rohit Sharma at slip a catching practice.
His dismissal brought Towhid Hridoy to the crease, with Bangladesh skipper Shaklib Al Hasan unbeaten on a 31-ball 19 at the other end.
