India bowling coach Paras Mhambrey said that India are not thinking about Bangladesh skipper Shakib Al Hasan's availability for the upcoming game against Bangladesh on Thursday at Pune and informed that the hosts are more focused on executing their game plan rather than thinking about any particular player.

Shakib injured his left thigh during Bangladesh's previous game against New Zealand and his availability is still in the dark since the Tigers team management are yet to provide any clear picture over his injury status.

The 36-year-old trained yesterday and was expected to undergo another MRI scan today. Shakib's participation for the game tomorrow will depend on the result of the scan report.

Mhambrey was asked whether the Indian team management have any plan to tackle the left-arm spinners since Shakib remained one of the most effective bowlers against the hosts.

"As a batter you are asked to go up against someone as there are match ups where certain batters are good against some bowlers. We know he is a good player; he's done well for Bangladesh. He is a handy batter and bowls well in the powerplays so he is a quality player. I think you got to give that to him but for us it really doesn't matter. For us, it's about what we do on the specific day in terms of our plan and execution so I believe its all about the team's point of view. So I thought if we could execute our plans we are going to do well and that's all we are focusing about," said Mhambrey to the media yesterday.

Afghanistan and Netherlands have delivered huge upsets in the ongoing World Cup beating defending champions England and a high-flying South Africa respectively and according to the former Indian seamer, India are wary of the probable threat from the Tigers and said that India is not taking Bangladesh lightly.

"It's a game. What you do is to come out to play and execute your game plan with the best of your abilities. It's a tough side as I mentioned every game for us is important and every opponent is important. We are not looking at that side rather we are focusing on what we are going to do and achieve in this game. We have a plan and if we could execute that, we will win and that's the only thing we are talking about and nothing else about the opponents," he said.
