Liton, Riyad, Mushfiqur and Taskin to 'return later' from UAE
Apart from skipper Mahmudullah Riyad, Mushfiqur Rahim, Taskin Ahmed and Liton Das, the remaining members of the Bangladesh team will return to Bangladesh on two separate flights on Friday.
According to the member of the selection panel Habibul Bashar, the four players will return home later.
"The team will board two separate flights on 10.30am and 4.30pm on Friday. Mahmudullah, Mushfiqur, Liton and Taskin however will return separately later," Bashar confirmed The Daily Star after the Tigers' eight-wicket loss to Australia in their final Super 12 clash.
He also added that members of the coaching staff, including Russell Domingo, will enjoy a break and will arrive in Bangladesh on November 11.
"Members of the coaching staff will also not travel with the team as they will have a break till November 11 ahead of the Pakistan series at home," he added.
Followed by their disastrous T20 World Cup campaign, in which Bangladesh lost all five of their Super 12 games, the Tigers will be returning home empty-handed.
