Rahul's direct hit dismisses Liton soon after resumption

Bangladesh lost in-form opener Liton Das soon after their T20 World Cup Super 12 fixture against India resumed following a rain break at the Adelaide Oval on Wednesday.
Bangladesh were set a revised target of 151 from 16 overs. However, the Tigers suffered a setback soon after resumption, losing Liton to a run-out in the second delivery of the eighth over. Liton, scampering for a double, was found short despite a full-length dive due to a KL Rahul direct hit from deep midwicket.
Bangladesh had hoped to start off from where they had left off before the rain had interrupted proceedings, but now are required to rebuild the innings with skipper Shakib Al Hasan in the middle with Najmul Hossain Shanto, who has batted with a low-strike rate up till now.
Liton scored a 21-ball 50 as Bangladesh had amassed 66 after seven overs before the rain.
