The Rajakhali Khal

The Rajakhali Khal (canal) flowing beside Chaktai and Khatunganj was once the lifeline to business since loading and unloading of goods were done from the canal. But, the canal has been narrowed due to encroachments on both the banks. The narrow canal now results in waterlogging at Chaktai and Khatunganj during heavy rain and high tide, causing damage to huge properties.
