Buddhist monastery distributes iftar in Ramadan

The Dhammarajika Buddhist Monastery in the capital’s Bashabo Sabujbagh area distributes iftar and drinking-water to poor fasting Muslims.

They say, it shows generosity and religious harmony to all. They always feel happy to serve the fasting Muslims who cannot afford iftar in this holy month of Ramadan.   

They have been providing iftar to two to three hundred people every day during Ramadan month for the last eight years.
