Transgender poet Shova tells her story at Boi Mela

Some say she is the first transgender poet in Bangladesh. Overcoming many adversities, she recently published her second book "Ami Shova Bolchi". Even though her book was published, she couldn't get a stall to carry her book. That's when Shova decided to personally sell her book at the fair premises, and went viral on social media.
