No safety regulations as people try to avail daily essentials at low prices

Crowds of hundreds of people were seen in front of Trading Corporation of Bangladesh (TCB) trucks in Rampura area of the capital, to avail daily necessities at low prices.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, millions of people have seen a sharp decline in their earnings. A programme was launched by TCB from July 5 to benefit people economically affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. With no system in place, health safety regulations were violated in the gatherings while receiving the commodities.
