Arafat Mohsin is one of the two brothers (Arafat Kirty and Arafat Mohsin) who remade the oldie "O bondhu laal golapi" for a popular telefilm '@18' back in 2013. The song connected instantly with the youngsters and for Studio 58, the name by which everyone recognises the talents duo, there was no looking back. Mohsin decides to take some time out from his studio and talk to the Star Weekend about movies and music.
What are the three things you would take with you to a deserted island?
It would depend on how long I would have to stay there of course – my guitar, a diary with at least 600 and more number of pages and a sketch book.
If you were given a chance to play a role in an old film, which role and which film would they be?

What is your favourite midnight snack?
My favorite midnight snack is Mister Twist chips!
Who are your musical inspirations:
Damien Rice, Pink Floyd, Coldplay, Jason Mraz, BB King and so many more! In Bangladesh, the band Bangla and Arnob inspire me greatly in my work.
Which director or directors would you like to work with in the future?
Anurag Kashyap, Imtiaz Ali, Ram Gopal Verma. I would specially like to work with Mostofa Sarwar Farooki, Amitabh Reza and Adnan Al Rajeev.
What is your favourite form of exercise?
Brainstorming! Sorry, but I don't exercise much!
What is the message you would like to give to all the young people trying to enter your profession?
Feel free to enter and explore your imagination like crazy.
