Laying down the law on Labels
We as a society now completely and utterly refuse to support any sort of labels. It is an inconceivably flagrant violation of all sorts of human rights that we still have to suffer this kind of indignity. We are now as a people finally sensitized and civil. It is now time to rise above all sorts of labels. Rise above all sorts of hate and rise above all sorts of prejudices. And if you cannot stand with us for this cause, then you are nothing but a backward, bigoted, piece of trash.
Of course this isn't going to be easy. To rid this evil, we must pull out its tentacles right from the root. By that, we of course mean the goddamn moderates. The moderates are the worst kind of people because not only do they try to steer the discourse towards what fits them but behave as if they are on altogether elevated pedestals. “They do it, doesn't mean we do it, because they misunderstand it while we understand it,” is the classic moderate excuse for all extremities. Their lack of empathy is where labels really take their roots from. Hang all the moderates.
The extremists come next in the line of fire. Let's face it, if it wasn't for extremists, we wouldn't have labels. Here, we have another group, slightly more radical in terms of the worth of another human's life, who also place themselves on a different pedestal. “It doesn't matter what it means, because this is what it should really mean,” and “Boo hoo look how bad they treat us for faults of our own which we refuse to see,” is their mantra. They fuel the fire and sow more seeds of discord than America does in the Middle East. The extremists also provide fodder for the progressives, neoconservatives, East Asians and leftist. Hang all the extremists.
After dealing with these two label-manufacturers we have the far rightest-middle-leftist-Marxist-Leninist-son of a gun. This guy is probably a tree hugger who values plant lives far more than human lives and much higher than animal lives. In fact if it isn't green, it's not even part of his scheme, are his words to live by. He or she or it or they or however they hell they find it to be least identified as also have issues with most things such as “stop breathing you are taking too much air for yourself”. This individual spends most of his time adding more labels to the label basket until his identity becomes greater than the contents of his entire life. Hang these guys too.
Of course to rid the world of all the labels and finally be the peace loving people that we are, we must first band together, hand in hand, united as one common denominator. No more will be Hindu feminist doctors. Jewish neocon bankers, Buddhist separatist monks, Muslim non-rebel-so-bad terrorists or White Christian civil rights super heroes. We'll be shorn of such societal and religious false adornments and be one, distinguished only by our preference for big brands, whether we eat plants of animals, whether we like men or women, which political parties we support and of course how much money and possessions we have. That will indeed be a beautiful world, the world the creator meant it to be, without space for shallow labels and non-normativeness. No black or white; only human colour! (PS No fatties).
