Mojar School spreads joy with
Mojar School, an institution known for providing free education to underprivileged children, held its annual "Anondo Utshob" on October 19, 2017. For the past four years, the school has conducted this programme in order to provide the children a hearty meal at least once a year. "These children are very poor, and some of them do not get to consume meat for months on end," says Arian Arif, the founder of Mojar School. "Thus, we decided to treat them to a meal where they could have all the meat that they want," he continues.
The programme was held at the Eskaton Ladies Club, and the children started arriving in double-decker buses at 11:30 am, supervised by volunteers and teachers of the school. An air of happiness filled the atmosphere as the children were being escorted inside the venue. Sisimpur took the stage at 12 pm much to the children's delight, followed by lunch. Performances by the students of Mojar School entertained the children and adults alike. There was a surprise performance by renowned singer Parvez Sazzad.
By the end of the event, Mojar School succeeded in leaving its students satisfied and elated. Bringing countless smiles across the faces of the children, this day of joy, feasting, and happiness would surely be etched in their memories forever.
