Study abroad with Education Hub
When it comes to studying abroad, Education Hub provides a one-stop solution to students, guiding them in every stage of their study abroad plan. From planning and university selection, all the way to departing for their studies, the experienced counsellors at Education Hub seamlessly coach students through the rigorous process that can seem daunting and tricky to many.
Education Hub started its operation in Bangladesh in 2015. It now has three branches, two located in Dhaka's Dhanmondi and Gulshan, and one in Sylhet. With its corporate office in London, Education Hub provides global support to students from their information centres in various locations such as Dubai and Nigeria.
They process applications for universities in the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, and the Netherlands. Education Hub has so far assisted more than 10,000 students abroad at the different level such as foundation, undergraduate, pre-Master's, Master's, and PhD levels. Currently, they are partnered with 100+ universities from the five countries, including the University of Aberdeen, University of Essex, Kingston University London, Coventry University, University of Bradford, University of Plymouth, Baylor University, Illinois Institute of Technology and Florida Atlantic University.
Education Hub has a system in place aimed at fully preparing and guiding students to realise their highest potentials. This holistic process starts with a free assessment that helps evaluate which courses and universities the student will be best suited for, given their academic backgrounds, professional experience, and future interests, as well as each student's financial background.
During this assessment, universities and courses are shortlisted according to which best fit the student's goals and abilities. The experienced team counsels students and helps them figure out what they want as a career and what they will pursue after choosing the path or subject they wish to opt for.
Application support is the next step of the process. The counsellors use their expertise and internal resources, along with university websites, to find all the necessary and relevant information to fully inform and guide students regarding their options.
Education Hub also provides scholarship support, helping students find scholarships they are eligible for and help them apply for the awards. The agency has managed up to 10,000 GBP in scholarships and even facilitated full scholarships for some students.
Once universities have been selected and shortlisted, Education Hub applies on behalf of the students through the university portals. If the applicants have to give interviews, the agency will fully guide prospective students through it and help them prepare and practice for the questions they can anticipate.
Once students have successfully received offers of admission and accepted an offer, then comes the visa application process. This can also be a tiresome and confusing process for many. Education Hub helps with filling out visa forms and launching the application, while also assisting students with every other step of the visa application process.
After students have successfully been issued a visa, the next issue is that of travel arrangements. The pre-departure briefing coaches students on how to prepare for their journey, dealing with immigration, and how to reach their university after their plane lands. After that, if accommodation support is required, Education Hub helps with finding the relevant information there, too.
Since Education Hub is an authorised partner of the universities and works directly with them, they accept no fees from students during this entire process.
For upcoming students, applications for the September 2022 intake is still ongoing, after which time the next intake will be for January 2023.
According to counsellors at the agency, students should start the process by organising their documents and then visiting one of their offices to get started on the application process. The necessary documents are a passport, all academic certificates and transcripts, results of language tests such as the IELTS, PTE, or Duolingo test, letters of recommendation from teachers or faculty members, a statement of purpose, an updated CV, and bank statements along with other financial documents. The counsellors can then guide students from there.
A unique feature that Education Hub offers is the IELTS 100 percent cashback offer. If a student applies to a UK university through them, no matter from which centre or agency they register for their IELTS exam, Education Hub will give them a full refund of their IELTS registration cost. For this to occur, the student must successfully be accepted into a UK university and receive a CAS letter from them. Education Hub is also an IELTS registration centre.
Umma Shaila Rumki had a ten-year-long study gap before finishing her Master's from Brac University. She wanted to pursue a second Master's but was scared if her study gap would allow her to continue her studies abroad. But with the help of Education Hub, she managed to begin her MSc in Clinical Leadership at Kingston University London in the January 2021 intake. The counsellors at Education Hub fully guided her through university selection and shortlisting and ultimately worked on her case till she received her UK student visa.
