A journalist becomes the first British citizen to cross the 16-kilometre Bangla Channel – from Teknaf to St Martin's Island in Bangladesh. A journalist of Associated Press (AP), Becky Horsbrugh swam the channel to raise funds for Centre for Injury Prevention and Research, Bangladesh (CIPRB).
