Renowned singer and music director Bappa Mazumder has lent his voice to a song titled “Magurar Phool”, inspired by the tragic incident involving eight-year-old girl, who was raped and murdered in Magura.
The official statement regarding Gaanshala further added that it is committed to nurturing the regular practice of creating original songs, aiming to create a platform for vocalists, musicians, lyricists, composers, and music professionals.
“Initially, ‘Bolechho’ was crafted with her in mind as a solo artiste. But when she suggested I join her in making it a duet, it felt like a dream come true. This invitation will remain one of the most treasured gifts of my career,” he said.
