“Daagi” stars Afran Nisho as a hardened, mysterious convict, with the number “786” branded on his uniform—a visual that’s now become iconic among fans. Starring opposite him is actress Tama Mirza, with a supporting cast that includes Sunerah Binte Kamal, Shahiduzzaman Selim, Gazi Rakayet, Mili Bashar, and Rashed Mamun Apu.

Providing an insight into the film, he shared, “’Daagi’ is the story of Nishan and Jarin’s love and separation. At the same time, it is also a tale of regret and repentance for these two characters. Meanwhile, on Thursday, the first song from “Daagi”, titled “Ektukhani Mon”, was released. The song has been performed by Tahsan Khan and Masha Islam, with lyrics by Sadat Hossain. The music composition and arrangement were done by Sajid Sarkar. The visuals of the song feature a romantic sequence between Nisho and Tama. Directed by Shihab Shaheen, “Daagi” also stars Sunerah Binte Kamal, Shahiduzzaman Selim, and others.
