Rapper Hannan Hossain Shimul, who recently released his rap about the quota reform movement, was arrested on July 25 by police officers. He was subsequently held on a two-day remand.

Close-up Valentine’s special is all set to telecast three romantic tele-fictions featuring popular young actors of television this upcoming Valentine’s Day on February 14. Acclaimed director Mostafa Kamal Raz has produced the Close-up’s valentine’s day tribute this year.
The first song out of the 20, titled "Koinnya Ake Go Alpona", was released yesterday. The lyrics for the song have been thoughtfully collected from folk songs and its music has been arranged beautifully by Emon Chowdhury, with vocals provided by Abanti Sithi, Antara Mondal, and Humaira Eshika.
In his announcement post, the “Networker Baire” director added a snapshot featuring lead actors Yash Rohan, Khairul Basar, and Tanjim Saiara Totini, who will play pivotal roles in the project.

Directed by Mizanur Rahman Aryan, “Shohore Onek Rod” pairs up Sabila Nur and Khairul Basar on this Eid.
“Shohore Onek Rod” also features Tania Ahmed and Nader Chowdhury, among others. The project will stream on the OTT platform Deepto play during Eid-ul-Fitr.
