Yesterday, on the first day of the two-day event “Indigenous Screen”, five films were screened under the evening sky at the Lalmatia D Block field, an initiative organised by the Indigenous Artists’ Unity.
The first full-length Chakma-language film, “My Bicycle”, directed by Aung Rakhine, was screened yesterday at the Suhrawardy Udyan Open Stage, which was previously banned by the censorship board.
