The High Court has said vehicles without valid fitness documents will not be allowed to ply the roads in Bangladesh.
The High Court asks Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA) to submit a report before it on the unfit vehicles plying the streets across the country and drivers without valid license.
A vigilance team comprising of transport owners and workers are checking vehicles at Dhaka’s Manik Mia Avenue where Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA) is also conducting drives simultaneously.
