Former state minister for ICT Zunaid Ahmed Palak remained relatively quiet as he was brought to Dhaka’s Chief Metropolitan Magistrate’s (CMM) Court yesterday.
The court of Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate GM Farhan Ishtiaque also granted two-day remands for former Awami League lawmaker Sadek Khan and former North City Ward Councillor Salimullah Salu, who were accused in the same case.
Zunaid Ahmed Palak, former state minister for posts, telecommunications and information technology, has confessed to deliberately shutting down the internet nationwide during the July uprising on former prime minister Sheikh Hasina’s orders.

The International Crimes Tribunal yesterday allowed its investigation agency to interrogate former state minister Zunaid Ahmed Palak.
