Prantar Dastider and Nidra Dey Neha had met during the making of the web-film “Antonagar”, directed by Goutam Koiri. Both of them made their debut in the industry through the Chorki’s produced project. The duo even ended up tying the knot in July, last year.
The movie has been both written and directed by Goutam Koiri. The director has weaved stories that are part of every Dhaka native’s life, yet never spoken of aloud.
The three on-screen pairs that will be featured in the production from Runout Films will include Runa Khan(Rozina) and Shamol Mawla (Ilias); Sabnam Faria (Moushumi) and Shohel Mondol (Maruf); Nidra Neha (Purnima) and Prantar Dastider (Shubho).
“Antanagar” promises to be a treat filled with action, suspense, crime, and love, which the fans shouldn’t miss out on.
Depicting the urban life, actor Shamol Mawla will reportedly play the role of a CNG driver in the film.
The director also added that to write and direct show for children is challenging. “Keeping child psychology in mind, and how they can learn through entertainment was not easy to accumulate. I had taken feedback from the employees of Duronto television, and it really helped me to develop the script.”
The city itself is witness to many stories that often reflect love and sometimes agony. Inspired by the many emotions we experience and live, along with the internal chaos and distress experienced by people, Goutam Koiri is set to tell a story that encapsulates all of the above, in his upcoming Chorki original film, Antonogor.
