The realms of poetry and philosophy are set to intertwine in a cinematic experience as director Masud Pathik begins his latest project, "Street Philosopher". Renowned for his fondness for making movies inspired by poetry, Pathik has already brought two poetries to life, "Maya: The Lost Mother" and "Nekabborer Mohaproyan", drawing inspiration from the verses of eminent poets.
National Award-winning film “Nekabborer Mohaproyan” will screen at this year's SAARC Film Festival, to be held in Colombo, Sri Lanka from June 1-6.
The Bengali film “Brihannala” which was announced earlier as the best film for 2014 by the Ministry of Information will no more be regarded as the “best film” for the said year.
