Watch the brand new trailer for the new Mafia game

2K Games and Hangar 13 have released the first full-length trailer for "Mafia: The Old Country," the latest installment in the Mafia series. The game is set in early 1900s Sicily and explores the origins of organised crime. It is scheduled for release in summer 2025 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.

The narrative follows Enzo Favara, who transitions from a childhood of indentured labor in Sicily's sulfur mines to joining the Torrisi crime family. The game emphasizes a linear, narrative-driven experience, aligning with the storytelling approach of earlier titles in the series.

Developed using Unreal Engine 5, "Mafia: The Old Country" aims to deliver high visual fidelity and authentic realism. The game will feature full audio dubbing in multiple languages, including English, French, German, Spanish, Czech, Russian, and Sicilian, with Italian available as a subtitle option.

The trailer was unveiled during The Game Awards 2024, providing a detailed look at the game's setting and narrative. The Mafia series, known for its immersive storytelling and historical settings, has sold over 34 million copies since its inception in 2002.

"Mafia: The Old Country" is expected to be a significant release for 2K Games in 2025, alongside other anticipated titles such as "Borderlands 4" and "Grand Theft Auto VI."
