Apple sneaked a hidden button in your iPhone, here’s how to find it
Last month when Apple released its all-new iOS 14, it also sneaked in a hidden button in your iPhone that blurs the line between hardware and software.
While iOS 14 featured a complete revamp of how the iOS homepage looks on your iPhone, with widgets, customisable themes and what not, it also introduced a sneaky little feature that many have not noticed—the Back Tap.
The Back Tap feature repurposes the sensors and hardware in your iPhone with a new software upgrade and turns the entire back of your iPhone into a giant touch-sensitive button that can be double or triple tapped to trigger certain functionalities including screenshot, Siri, volume up and down and so on.
If you have upgraded to the latest iOS 14, here's how to turn the Back Tap on—Go to Settings>Accessibility and scroll down until you see Back Tap. Toggle it on and customise the functions you want to do with tapping. Then simply double tap or triple tap your iPhone's back to perform those functions.
