While, most people were stating their half-assed opinions on why coronavirus happened, xenophobia was busy rearing its ugly head. Everything from eating bats to China’s mistreatment of Uyghur Muslims became a correlative effect of Coronavirus. WHO has deemed Coronavirus as a Public Health Emergency of International Concern. As of going into print three days ago, coronavirus has infected more than 17,000 people in China, killing around 426 people. More than a couple dozen other countries have confirmed cases, including our own.

What’s terrifying is that misinformation is spreading even more quickly. So keep your guards up and understand what you’re reading and where you’re reading it from.
