Get up, stand up

The past week has been a weary one.

From being overwhelmed with news of violence against women to a nationwide eruption of protest against the ongoing rape pandemic, combined with the utter disappointment of realising that the conversation is not reaching its intended mass—the week has taken a toll on all of us.

We, at Toggle, are terrified, enraged and disappointed. But above all, we are determined. Determined to do whatever we can to contribute to this movement.

So, we do what we do best—we write. We try to help our readers, especially women, by listing out options for them to prepare themselves in cases of emergencies.

We wish we lived in a better world. But we don't. And we hope this week's Toggle helps out, even if it's just a little bit.
