Bangladeshi racing team "Team Bangladesh" secured three victories in United Arab Emirates's NGK UAE ProCar Championship.

The team, consisting of Bangladeshi driver Avik Anwar and Affan Sadat, took part in the championship's AE86 class, 2020-2021 season. The season consisted of five rounds, each containing two races. Of the ten races, the duo took part in 5.

The team won races 5, 9 and 10, scoring 27, 50 and 52 points respectively. The team was unable to finish race 6 and 8 and scored 15 points on race 7.

In total, Team Bangladesh scored a total of 144 points, the third-highest of the season.

In a Facebook post announcing his victory, Avik Anwar mentioned he is not in the best physical condition and are planning to take a 2 months break from racing. He did mention plans to return to racing after the break, starting with Malaysia.

"Alhamdulillah for everything! Bangladesh is not far behind in the motorsports sector" he said in the post.
