Commemorative Tk 100 note released marking Padma Bridge opening

Bangladesh Bank has released commemorative notes of Tk 100 on the occasion of the long-cherished Padma Bridge opening tomorrow (June 25, 2022).

Bangladesh Bank issued a press release in this regard yesterday (June 23, 2022).

According to the release, the new commemorative note will be available at the Motijheel office of Bangladesh Bank from Sunday (June 26) and at other branch offices later.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will inaugurate the country's longest bridge tomorrow morning.

The 6.5km road and rail bridge, directly connecting Dhaka with the southwestern districts, will be open to public at 6:00am the following day.
