10 more Bangladeshis return from India through Darshana check-point
Ten more Bangladeshis, who got stuck in India due to travel embargo, returned home through Darshana check-point in Chuadanga yesterday.
In the last 32 days, a total of 899 Bangladeshis returned through Darshana check-point, reports our Kushtia correspondent quoting Sub-inspector Abdul Alim, immigration in-charge of Darshana Joynagar check-point.
The Chuadanga health department conducted rapid antigen tests on all of them at the check post, the SI said. However, no one tested positive.
Among the 10 returnees, nine were kept at the Chuadanga Youth Training Centre and the other at a hotel in the city. They will have to stay there for 14-days' mandatory institutional quarantine.
