Biman to resume flights to Saudi Arabia from May 29
Biman Bangladesh Airlines has planned to resume flight operations to Saudi Arabia from May 29, nine days of flight suspension on this route.
The national flag carrier said this in a press release issued tonight.
On May 20, Biman suspended its flights to three destinations in Saudi Arabia due to the issuance of a new travel advisory by the Saudi Civil Aviation authority.
In the fresh advisory, the Saudi authorities imposed several tough provisions for respective airlines and passengers including making it for them have medical insurance which covers the risk of Covid-19 and the treatment of passengers.
Passengers will also have to ensure booking at hotels designated by Saudi authorities to stay in institutional quarantine for at least seven days.
