The most controversial presidential elections in the history of the United States closed with the billionaire business tycoon Donald J Trump being elected as the 45th President of the country.

Social media users in Bangladesh are reacting on Facebook about the results of the 45th race to the White House, with humor, analytics, rejection and so on.

Barrister Aneek R Haque, a lawyer at the Supreme Court of Bangladesh jokes:

"Reality TV Show hosts of Bangladesh may start to apply for Immigration to US with the dream of becoming the President one day!!"

Facebook user Moshfeque Rizvi mentions Brexit and Trump becoming the president as two big incidents of 2016.

Some also said this win is as disastrous as the 9/11 attack on the US.

"Today is 9/11 :) Made it historical day, again!"

One college student Adib Shamsuddin writes, "If a racist , misogynist like Trump can become president despite having no political experience, I can ask out the girl whom I don't have a chance with."

However, on the other hand, Journalist Rezaul Karim Lotus wrties Donald John Trump was elected the 45th president of the United States on Tuesday in a stunning culmination of an explosive, populist and polarizing campaign that took relentless aim at the institutions and long-held ideals of American democracy.

Barrister Ali Basher says this outcome was predicted. He mentioned it in his facebook post.

Ajanta Debroy takes a different approach as she says "main reason behind Trump's success is - 'Hillary Clinton'
