US role in Ukraine’s crisis
Russia's attack on Ukraine is wholly unacceptable. But what cannot be ignored is America's role in the crisis. The US has been moving and supplying arms to the region which has done nothing but intensify the tension.
Additionally, while condemning Russia's aggression, the US is pretending like it does not commit similar atrocities against other sovereign states—even though it has been estimated that among the 248 armed conflicts that have occurred in 153 regions across the globe between 1945 and 2001, 201 were initiated by the US, accounting for a whopping 81 percent.
America favours countries that buy arms from it. Their double standards in relation to the sufferings of the Palestinian people make clear just how much human lives matter to US politicians. The arms industry in America makes huge profits from these wars, and that is why they want wars to be waged across the world.
