Tribute fit for a King: Most-liked tweet now belongs to Chadwick Boseman
The tweet that announced the passing away of Chadwick Boseman is now the most-liked tweet of all time, reports CNN.
Boseman, who earned global fame with the role of the king of Wakanda in Marvel's blockbuster "Black Panther", died on Friday after battling colon cancer for four years. He was 43.
Twitter on Saturday confirmed the accolade on its own verified account with a tweet that read: "Most liked Tweet ever. A tribute fit for a King. #WakandaForever."

Boseman's account on Friday shared a black and white image of him with a statement confirming his untimely demise.
The message now stands atop Twitter's metrics board with more than 5.7 million likes and still counting, reports CNN.
The next closest tweet was from Barack Obama in 2017 that included a quote by Nelson Mandela and was liked more than 4.3 million times, the report added.
