Kuet gets new VC

Prof  Mihir Ranjan Halder has been appointed as the new vice-chancellor of Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (Kuet).

Rokhsana Begum, deputy secretary of education ministry, issued a gazette notification in this regard yesterday. A professor of the mechanical engineering department, Halder was  previously the dean of the faculty. 

Halder completed his BSc Engineering degree in 1982 from the then Bangladesh Institute of Technology.  He joined the then BIT, Khulna as a lecturer in 1984 .
