RU suspends classes, exams for tomorrow, Monday

Rajshahi University authorities have suspended all classes and examinations of the university for tomorrow and Monday following the clash between students and locals in Binodpur area adjacent to the university campus this evening.

RU Vice-Chancellor Prof Golam Shabbir Sattar announced the matter after visiting the injured students at the university medical centre tonight.

Earlier, Prof Sultan-ul-Islam, pro vice-chancellor of the university, said at least 200 students were injured in the clash.
