JAAGO Foundation, The Daily Star sign MoU for National Youth Assembly 2022
JAAGO Foundation, a civil society organisation, represented by its assistant director of operations, Esha Farooque and The Daily Star, represented by its head of business, Shuvashish Roy, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Wednesday, December 22, 2021. The signing took place at JAAGO Foundation's Dhaka office in the presence of Korvi Rakshand, founder and chairman of JAAGO Foundation. At the ceremony, the Daily Star's development sector project in charge Kazi Rufaida Islam was also present.
The MoU was signed to align The Daily Star as the strategic partner for the upcoming National Youth Assembly in Cox's Bazar, which JAAGO Foundation is organising.
This year's National Youth Assembly is the fifth iteration of the programme, and it will take place between February 3 and February 5, 2022 in Cox's Bazar.
The National Youth Assembly is an endeavour of the JAAGO Foundation, where youth leaders from all over the country are brought together under one umbrella to promote a better understanding of youth leadership, service-learning, and greater awareness of global issues.
The fifth session of The National Youth Assembly is focused on reflecting on the pandemic from youth lenses. It is a conference to invest in and replicate youth solutions to the pandemic. This year's theme is "Reimagining the Future: Post Pandemic World".
A total of 500 participants from all 64 districts of the country will attend the programme and participate in the various sessions on leadership, 21st-century skills, and sustainable development goals, among other topics, facilitated by 65 speakers from different walks of life.
