Dhaka, Chattogram stock exchanges open lower

Stocks on Dhaka and Chattogram bourses fell in the morning trade today.

The DSEX, the benchmark index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), edged down 7 point, or 0.11 per cent, to 6,196 at 11:10 am.

Turnover stood at Tk 88 crore.

Of the securities, 27 advanced, 58 declined and 150 remained unchanged.

The Caspi, the all-share price index of the Chittagong Stock Exchange, declined 45 points, or 0.24 per cent, to 18,281.

Of the issues, 11 rose, 27 retreated, and 24 saw no price movement.

Turnover of the port city bourse stood at Tk 1.5 crore at 11:15 am.
