The Dhaka and Chattogram bourses fell slightly in the morning session today.

The DSEX, the benchmark index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), edged down 1 point, or 0.02 per cent, to 6,308 at 11:55 am.

Turnover stood at Tk 257 crore.

Of the securities, 85 advanced, 73 declined and 141 remained unchanged.

The Caspi, the all-share price index of the Chittagong Stock Exchange, added 0.14 points, or 0.07 per cent, to 18,636.

Of the issues, 27 rose, 50 retreated, and 42 saw no price movement.

Turnover of the port city bourse stood at Tk 2.6 crore at 12:08 pm.
