Stocks on Dhaka and Chattogram bourses edged down in the morning trade today.

The DSEX, the benchmark index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), edged down 2 point, or 0.03 per cent, to 6,207 at 11:30 am.

Turnover stood at Tk 208 crore.

Of the securities, 43 advanced, 68 declined and 150 remained unchanged.

The Caspi, the all-share price index of the Chittagong Stock Exchange, declined 6 points, or 0.03 per cent, to 18,299.

Of the issues, 20 rose, 23 retreated, and 20 saw no price movement.

Turnover of the port city bourse stood at Tk 1.7 crore at 11:35 am.
