DSE, CSE fall in morning trade

The indices of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) fell slightly in the morning trade today.

The DSEX, the benchmark index of the top bourse in Bangladesh, edged down 5 points, or 0.09 per cent, to 6,268 at 12:08 pm.

Turnover stood at Tk 346 crore.

Of the securities, 51 advanced, 88 declined and 187 remained unchanged.

The Caspi, the all-share price index of the Chittagong Stock Exchange, lost 15 points, or 0.08 per cent, to 18,451.

Of the issues, 26 rose, 44 retreated, and 83 saw no price movement.

Turnover of the port city bourse stood at Tk 3.2 crore at 12:10 pm.
