The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) rose slightly in the morning trade today.

The DSEX, the benchmark index of the premier bourse in Bangladesh, edged up 7 points, or 0.12 per cent, to 6,286 at 11:40 am.

Turnover stood at Tk 390 crore.

Of the securities, 94 advanced, 59 declined and 176 remained unchanged.

The Caspi, the all-share price index of the Chittagong Stock Exchange, gained 32 points, or 0.17 per cent, to 18,535.

Of the issues, 55 rose, 33 retreated, and 52 saw no price movement.

Turnover of the port city bourse stood at Tk 6.2 crore at 11:45 am.
